Obituary

Rex D. Brenneman, 84, a World War II veteran, passed away on Wednesday (Oct. 20, 2010). He was born on April 26, 1926, in Newton, the son of Dan and Fern. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jo B. of Wichita; son, Mike (Mo) of Wichita; daughter, Rhonda Voth of Wichita; daughter, Sherrie (Terry Francis) Brenneman of California; brother, Richard of Newton; grandchildren, Rex and Kayla Voth, and Hayden and Olivia Brenneman-Francis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorma Entz. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hillside Funeral Home West in Wichita. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hillside Funeral Home West. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Halstead Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
