Eileen Beverly Garnett) Boyd

Eileen Beverly Boyd, 89, passed away on Thursday (Nov. 4, 2010) at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson.

She was born on Jan. 1, 1921, in Newton, the daughter of Harry and Edna Rose (Dickinson) Garnett. She was a homemaker and longtime Hutchinson resident.

She is survived by four sons, James R. Boyd, Michael Anthony Glen, Randy Boyd and Tyrone Boyd; three daughters, Diana Miller, Norma Jean Hill and Kimberly Glenn; two brothers, Floyd Garnett and Clayton Garnett; one sister, Jerry Lynn Tipton; 29 grandchildren; and numerous beloved great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marzetta Boyd; sisters, Rosetta Crowder, Brenda Harvey, Clara Whitmore and Rose Marie Foster; and brothers, Norris Dean Garnett and William Garnett.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eastside Cemetery in Hutchinson. Pastor Michael Williams will preside.
