Obituary

Harry F. Brandenberger, 56, technical director for Legg Co. of Halstead, died Wednesday (May 29, 2002) at Via Christi - St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. He was born Aug. 11, 1945, to Frederick and Minnie Rosileen (Nightingale) Brandenberger in Nevada, Mo. They preceded him in death. He married Cherri J. Ottensmeier July 3, 1976, in Halstead. She survives of the home. He was a member of Halstead Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Other survivors include: a son, Ryan Brandenberger of the home; a daughter, Katie Brandenberger of the home; two brothers, Donnie Koehn of Halstead and Loel Brandenberger of Phoenix; and two sisters, Carrie Juanita Wheeler of Alta Loma, Calif., and Doris Greeson of San Diego. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Halstead Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Ericksten officiating. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
