Obituary Mrs. Larimer
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Larimer, who died at her home in Kansas City, Mo., July 12, were cunducted at Sprinker-Carter Funeral Home, July 15. Interment took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Larimer, better remembered in this city as Mrs. Joseph Fulton of Newton and Sedgwick, was born in Meade county, Kentucky, September 9, 1868. In 1884 she moved with her parents to Kansas, and in the same year she married Joseph L. Fulton.
To the union of Mr. and Mrs. Fulton, seven children were born, six of whom are living. They are; Mrs. Ellen Baublitts of Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. Ruth Brown of Denver Colo.; John, Boyd, Floyd and Carl of Kansas City, Mo. A daughter Beulah, died in infancy.
Four sisters and one brother who survive are: Mrs. Martha Wolf of Wichita: Mrs. L. C. Howell of Putnam, Kan.; Mrs. Hallie Sherman of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Fannie Utz of Newton,; and Carl E. Smith of Flagstaff, Arizona. Seven grandchildren also survive. Her husband, her parents, and her brother Jesse, preceded her to the great beyond.
She with her husband became members of the Baptist church in her early married life and she continued in her faith until her death.
Mrs. Larimer was a kind and loving mother and sister, and she will be missed not only by her children and other relatives, but she leaves many friends who mourn her death.
