Supernois, Normadean A. (Luttrell), 85, died September 21, 2009. Visitation 1-9 p.m., Thursday, Petersen Funeral Home, with family present 6:30-8 p.m. Services 10 a.m., Friday, Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials to Salem United Methodist Church c/o Petersen Funeral Home.

Normadean A. (Luttrell) Supernois, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday (Sept. 21, 2009) at home with family by her bedside.

She was born on June 22, 1924, in Anthony to Luther and Laura (Wilson) Luttrell. They preceded her in death.

She married Calvin L. Supernois on June 9, 1946, in Newton. Calvin passed away in 2001.

Others that preceded her in death were two sisters, Neva (Luttrell) Stubby and Eva Luttrell.

She and her husband owned Supernois Furniture from 1946 to 1981. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. She loved to travel and was a member of the Sunflower Fan Club Travel Group. She loved to spend all her time with her family and friends. She also was a member of the Kansas Bluegrass Association.

Other survivors include son, Jerry Supernois and his wife, Joanne, and daughter, Kay Supernois, all of Newton; brothers, Melvin Luttrell and his wife, Bessie, of Newton, and Norman and his wife, Blanche, of Kimberly City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Monica (Stiver) Supernois, and Nathan Supernois and his fiance, Carrie Schmidt, all of Newton, Mark Supernois and his fiance, Holly, of Wichita, and Lisa (Supernois) and her husband, Dan Timmons, and Kristi (Supernois) Bueno, all of Newton; and five great-grandchildren, Alexis Supernois, Ashley Schmidt, Marci and Ashleigh Timmons, and Alexander Bueno.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

Memorials may be left with Salem United Methodist Church in care of Petersen Funeral Home
