Randolph Roy 'Randy' Schroeder
GOESSEL -- Randolph Roy "Randy" Schroeder, 74, died Saturday (Dec. 18, 1999) at Bethesda Home in Goessel. He was a farmer and former employee at Hesston Corp. and Hay and Forage for about 18 years.
He was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Goessel to Reinhard and Mary (Wiebe) Schroeder. He married Jessie (Tanner) Schroeder Nov. 12, 1975, in Newton. She survives of Newton.
He was a member of Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel and Eagles in Newton. He lived on a farm in rural Canton, moving to Newton in 1975, and to Bethesda Home in Goessel in 1997.
One other survivor includes a sister, Sophia Scrivner of Newton.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church with the Revs. James Dunn and Mark Wiens officiating. Burial will be in the Alexanderwohl Cemetery.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
Memorials have been established with Bethesda Home or Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in care of the funeral home.
