TUCSON, Ariz. -- Lillian Elizabeth Lukensmeyer, 82, died Friday (Dec. 24, 1999) at Tucson, Ariz. She was the sister of Ada Lehman of Halstead.
She was born Feb. 13, 1917, in Newton to Albert and Ella McFarlane. She married Ralph Lukensmeyer in 1941 in Hot Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1989.
She graduated from Newton High School and was a 1941 graduate of Halstead Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a longtime resident of Tucson. She was a former employee nurse for the Bureau of Indian Affairs on the Papago Indian Reservation near Tucson.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Anne Lukensmeyer of Tucson, Ariz.; and two brothers, Andrew McFarlane of San Leandro, Calif., and Dwight McFarlane of Beloit.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jay McFarlane; and three sisters, Donna White, Fayanna Zimmerman and Mabel Boller.
Memorials services will be Wednesday at Catalina United Methodist Church in Tucson.
