Obituary

Virginia Lois Steele, 81, formerly of Hutchinson, died Saturday June 28, 1997 at Mt. Hope Nursing Center, Mt. Hope, Kansas.

She was born Nov. 7, 1915 at Burrton, daughter of Dougal and Cora Paden Carmichael A former Hutchinson resident, she moved to Mt. Hope in 1982 from Wichita. She was a retired medical technologist. She was a member of Riverside Christsian Church, Wichita.

Survivors: daughter, Deborah Goddard, Pittsburg; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

Graveside service was held Tuesday in the Burrton cemetery with the Rev. Roland Wolfe presiding.
