Frank Brown

Frank Brown was born in Anderson Co., Kansas on August 3, 1866 and died at his home 1 1/2 mile south of Punkin Center, Saturday morniing, July 4, 1942, age 75 years 11 months after an illness of four months.

Mr. Brown had been a farmer in the Valley Township for 50 years. He married Christina Rosa Carmichael on December 25, 1894.

Survivors: his wife Christina, two daughters, Mrs. Tracie Kestler, Hutchinson; and Mrs. Jesse Pike, Nickerson, three sons, Fred, Nickerson, Harvey and Frank of Burrton, one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services were held at Pleasant Grove United Brethren church Monday with Rev. W. S. Luper officiating. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
