Walter Redinger was born April 20,1907 near Burrton, Kansas. He passed away at the age of 53 on August 10 1960. He married Pearl Ann Tucker on January 3, 1929. He and his wife lived ten years on a Rural Route out of Jetmore, Kansas, moving back south of Burrton, Kansas to livfe for three yeaars. Then they purchased a place on Rural Route 2 of Halstead in 1941, where he lived the rest of his life and grew to know and have many friends.

He is survived by his wife and three sons; Wendle Redinger aand family of Newton, Darwin Redinger and family of Topeka, Kansas who is in the Air Force; and Gerald Redinger and wife who is presently with the Army.

He is also survived by his father, John Redinger of Halstead; four brothers, Homer, William, Robert and Paul and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Vierthaler of rural Burrton.

Services were held at the Presbyterian Church with burial in the Halstead cemetery.
