Mrs. Eliza Brainard of Emma township, died Wednesday, January 24 of lung fever, after suffering about three weeks.The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, the services to be conducted at the home by Rev. D. E. Vojaw. The interment will be made in the Newton Cemetery. Deceased was 64 years of age. She came to Kansas from Illinois sixteen years ago with her husband, who survives her. Seven children, two sons, and five daughters, all grown, also mourn her death. She was a member of the Methodist church and passed away firm in her faith.
