Obituary

Minnie J. Cadwell, 103, died October 10. 1991 at Bethel Health Care Center, North Newton, Kansas.

She was born October 8, 1888 at Cedar Vale, Kansas, daughter of George and Anna Kunishewski Pierce. A lifetime resident of Halstead, before moving to the Bethel Health Care Center in 1982, she ws a homemaker.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the 60 Plus Club, and the American Legion Auxillary, all of Halstead and the Veterans of Foreign War Auxillary.

She married George O. Cadwell on February 15, 1927 at Marion, Kansas. He died November 18, 1971. Survivors include one brother, Floyd Holle of Sedgwick.

Funeral services were held at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstad. Burial was in the Halstad cemetery.
