Valeria B (Owens) Wright

Valerie B. Wright, 51, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jess Owens of Burrton and wife of Harlan C. Wright, died November 23, 1966 at the Halstead Hospital after a long illness. Born in Sedgwick on September 22, 1915, she had been a resident of Halstead most of her life.

In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by three sons; Gary, Ted and John, all of Halstead. Another son, Richard preceded his mother in death April 2, 1966 in Viet Nam. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Albright of Burrton and Mrs. Iva Whittle, of Redondo Beach, California and one brother, Paul Owens of Haven.

Funeral services were conducted at the Kaufman Funeral Chapel with burial in Halstead Cemetery.
