Taylor, Beulah Muriel

Funeral services for Beulah Taylor were held Thesday, October 25 in the Burrton Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Bates of the Hadley Methodist church, Hutchinson and Rev. Robert Conway of the Burrton Methodist Church officiated.

Miss Taylor was born near Wakita, Oklahoma, June 24, 1900, the daughter of Charles and Ella Carter Taylor. She attended the University of Arkansas and Yale University and taught in McPherson for five years. She workked in Kansas City and in Wichita.

Miss Taylor was administrator of the Mary L Home in Burrton, which whe and her sister, Dorothy Cooper, built in 1962. She became ill September 8 and was hospitalized until her death, October 21, 1966.

Survivors: sister, Dorothy Cooper and her brother, Harold Taylor and his wife, Vesta; three aunts, Mrs. Acta Harlow of Arkansas City, Mrs. Marie Wendling of Halstead and Miss Bertha Carter of Newton; her uncle Richard Carter of Marshfield, Missouri.

Burial was in Star Cemetery near Burrton, Kansas.
