Zelma M Beaty

Services for Miss Zelma Mae Beaty, 55, of 1738 N. Yaale, Wichita, who died Sunday, will be Tuesday at First Methodist church in Halstead, Kansas. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.

Miss Beaty was born January 7, 1908 in Peabody, Kansas. She had lived in Wichita 10 years and was a teacher at Curtis Junior High School.

She was a member of First Methodist Church, Kappa Delta Pi, Delta Kappa Gamma, past president of the Kansas district YWCA, past secretary of the Kansas Counciul of Women and organist at Veterans Hospital for 8 years.

Survivors: parents, Mr. & Mrs. Sam Beaty, Halstead and three sisters; Mrs. Milton Butler, Halstead; Mrs. J. F. Weatherford, Mount Vernon, Illinois; and Mrs. V. F. Trovillion, Oklahoma City.

Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead has charge of arrangements.
