Mary Elizabeth Taylor

Miss Elizaabeth Taylor, 88, Sedgwick died Saturday March 11, 1967 at the Halstead Hospital after a long illness. She was born at Sedgwick Januaary 19, 1879 and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She taught school for a number of years and had been superintendent of schools in Fulton, Kansas. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors: two sisters, Miss Mabel Alice Taylor, Sedgwick; Mrs. Ralph Finnell of Wichita; three brothers, Charles Taylor, Sedgwick; David Taylor, Santa Anna, California; and Bruce Taylor of Wichita.

Services were held at the Kaufman Funeral Chapel with burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
