Obituary

Milton H. Butler, 84, a retired electronic technician, died December 25, 1990 at the Halstead Hospital. Graveside services will be Friday at the Halstead Cemetery. Memorial service will be Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Halstead with the Rev. Dale L. Powell officiating.

He was born January 18, 1906 at Roff, Oklahoma, son of Oscar and Blanche Fletcher Butler. He married Juanita Hockett on February 12, 1937 at Morton, Texas. She died April 24, 1956. He married Dorothy Beaty Lee on June 5, 1959 at Halstead. She survives. He had been a resident of Halstead since 1946.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Halstead, past master of Masonic Lodge #46, past patron OES #407, both in Halstead; member of Scottish Rite of Wichita Consistory, Median Shrine of Wichita, the Harvey County Shrine Club and a former church elder.

Other survivors: son, Robert Lee Butler of Haven; daughter, Jeanette Emert of Halstead; two brothers, Jess Butler of Bellview, Washington and W. Van Butler of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
