Hart, Charles

The Newton Kansan

Charles E. "Bud" Hart, 53, a native of Newton, died Thursday, January 23, 1975 in Sacramento, California, where he had resided for the past 15 years. He was born December 25, 1921 in Newton, the son of Walter and Mattie Hart. He married Helen Little, August 5, 1941 in Newton. She survives of the home.

He was a salesman and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the St. Marik's United Methodist Church and the American Legion in Sacramento.

Other survivors: one daughter, Mrs. C. D. (Charlotte) Jost, Hesston; two sons, Grant, Sacramento and Jim of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Ruth, Kingsburg, California and Mrs. Jerry Mason, Fresno, California; one brother, Bruce, Sacramento, California and two grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday in Petersen Funeral Chapel with burial in the Greenwood cemetery.
