Taylor, Charles S.

The Newton Kansan

Charles S. Taylor, Rt. 1, Sedgwick, died Sunday morning, May 4, 1975 at Axtell Christian Hospital. He was born November 4, 1884 in Harvey County, the son of Henry and Alice Stewart Taylor. He was a lifetime resident of Harvey County. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He married Lorena Dryden December 20, 1920 at Vici, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Other survivors: one son, Frank E., Wichita; two daughters, Mrs. James (Wanda) Finke, Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Forrest (Joan) Jeffries, Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Jr.

Services will be held Tuesday at Draper-Cannon Funeral Home with burial in the Halsteaad Cemetery.
