Conrad Ray Bryant

Conrad Ray "Connie" Bryant, 45, died May 7, 1987 at Hutchinson Hospital aafter being electrocuted in an industrial accident at Burrton. He was born May 4, 1942 in Hutchinson, he married Martha Ann Bruce, October 7, 1965, in Hutchinson. He had been a lifelong Burrton resident and was co-owner of Bryant Sand and Gravel Co., Burrton.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead and an adult adviser for its Catholic Youth Organization, was a former mayor of Burrton, a former Burrton councilman and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors: wife of the home; sons, Adam A. and Alan Ray, both of the home; daughter, Jane L. Perkins, Burrton; parents, Paul and Mildred Bryant, Burrton; brother, Ronald P., Burrton; sister, Sharon Baumann, Burrton; three grandchildren.

Rosary will be Sunday at St. Terea's Catholic Church, Hutchinson. Funeral will be Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead. Burial will be in the Burrton Cemetery.
