Maxine Toevs

Maxine Toevs, 69, died July 7, 1987 at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton. Born Maxine Quinton, March 22, 1918 at Newton, she married Ernest D. Toevs December 25, 1945 at Newton. She was a retired service representative for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and was a Newton resident all of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Newton and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivor: Husband of the home. Funeral will be Friday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, Newton and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
