Obituary

Irene C. Baumann, 90, Memorial Home for the Aged, Moundridge, a longtime Halstead resident and homemaker died Wednesday, October 4, 1989 at Mamorial Home.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Halstead Cemetery with the Revs. John Gaeddert and John H. Waltner officiating.

She was born Irene C. Keller, March 8, 1899, at Salisbury, Missouri. On November 15, 1923 she married Sam Baumann in Halstead. He survives. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead. She was an avid quilt maker and quilted with the Mennonite Women for many years.

Other survivors: daughter, Evelyn Young of Halstead; one brother, Arthur Keller of Halstead and ttwo grandchildren.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Memorials are suggested to the church.
