Obituary

Bernhard H. "Sam" Baumann, 96, Halstead, died Thursday January 20, 1994 at the Regency Health Care Center in Halstead. He was born November 12, 1897 at Halstead, the son of Fred and Mary Stucky Bauman. A lifetime Halstead resident, he was a retired farmer and stockman. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

On November 15, 1923 he married Irene C. Keller at Halstead. She died October 4, 1989.

Survivors: daughter, Evelyn I. Young and two grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Saturday in the Halstead Cemetery at Halstead.
