Obituary

Minnie Rosileen Brandenberger, 88, Halstead, died Friday, May 8, 1998 at Bethesda Home in Goessel. She was born October 10. 1909 at rural Halstead,d the daughter of Tobias A. and Carrie Untuh. A lifelong resident of Halstead, moving to Bethesda Home in 1997, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Halstead Baptist Church.

She married Frederick Brandenberger at Williamsburg, Kansas on August 20,1942. He died May 10, 1972. Surivors: sons, Donnie R. Koehn, Halstead, Harry F. Brandenberger, Sedgwick and Loel Brandenbereger, Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Carrie Juanita Wheeler, Alta Loma, California and Doris Greeson, San Diego, California; a brother, Elmer Nightingale, Newton; sister, Martha Bohrn, Wichita; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Carl C. Nightingale; Ben T. Nightingale; Adam T. Nightingale; John C. Nightingale; and one in infancy; and four sisters, Helen Androes; Elizabeth Janes; Anna Cox; Marie Anna Nightingale.

Services were held at the Halstead Baptist Church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
