Ernest Henry Will

Ernest Henry "Ernie" Will, 65, died Saturday, May 29, 1999 at Halstead Hospital. He was born July 30, 1933 at Halstead, the son of Henry Gustav and Helen Elizabeth Mueller Will. A lifelong resident of Halstead, he was a retired postal carrier and farmer. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

He was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead, the Wayne G. Austin American Legion Post 2 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 971, both at Newton. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Survivors: brother, Jim Will, Halstead; companion, Betty Walker, Halstead.

Funeral will be Saturday at First Mennonite Church in Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
