Janice Pauline (Huebert) Murray

Janice Pauline "Polly" Murray, 79, Halstead, died Friday December 13, 2002 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead. She was born July 25, 1923 at Halstead, the daughter of Paul Henry and Frankie Irene Paull Huebert.

She was a former P.E. teacher at Emporia State University and a homemaker. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter JH and Halstead Historical Society, both of Halstad. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Halstead.

She married Larry B. Murray at Bakersvield, California on November 19, 1944. He survives of the home. Other survivors: son, Rodrick Murray, Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Susan Murray, Durango, Colorado; sisters, Lois Huebert, Halstead and Mary Erdahl, Redding, California and two granddaughters.

Services were held December 17, 2002 at Kaufman Funerl Home, Halstead. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
