Obituary

Edna Ruth Mueller, 85, lifelong resident of Halstead died May 26, 2005 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation. She was born December 6, 1919 at rural Halsted to Rudolf and Selma C. Moyer Mueller. She taught country school at Halstead, Whitewater and Buhler and was assistant treasurer for the General Conference Mennonite Church Central Office for 32 years. She was a 1938 Halstead High School graduate; a member of First Mennonite Churd, Halstead and was never married. Survivors: brother, Waldo Mueller and wife, Jean, Halstead; nephews Chuck Mueller, Halstead and Dwight Mueller, North Newton and niece, Shirley Rodenberg, Halstead. She was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Edwin and Ervin Mueller. Graveside service was May 31, 2005 at the Halstead Cemetery. A memorial service date will be announced later.
