Obituary

Wayne I. Baughman, 57, ElDorado, son of Althea Abston, Buhler, died March 2, 1990 at his home. He was born March 11, 1932 near Burrton, the son of Lloyd and Althea Grubbs Baughman. He was a graduate of Haven High School. He married Lorraine Hill, March 15, 1953 at Haven. He had been a resident of ElDorado for 29 years and ws an employee for the Texaco refinery until his retirement in 1976.

He was a member of the Christian Church, Medicine Lodge; the Patmons Lodge No. 97; A.M. & F.M., ElDorado; the Delta Masonic Lodge, Medicine Lodge; Scottish Rite, Midian Shrine, York Rite, Andrina Chapter No. 92; Order of the Eastern Star; Butler County Shrine Club; Midian Tin Lizzies; the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Union; and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors: wife of the home; two sons, Wayne Jr., Hutchison and Roger, Park City; daughter, Cindy Patrick, Rose Hill; sister, Eileen Hooper, Roswell, N.M.; one granddaughter and two step-grandchildren.

Services were held March 6 at the church in Eldorado. Burial was in the Burrton, Kansas cemetery.
