Jesse Koehn

Jesse Koehn, 74, Halstead, died November 28, 1991 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. He was born May 1, 1917 at Copeland, Lansas, the son of Enoch D. and Anna Schmidt Koehn. A longtime Halstead resident, he was a farmer. He was a member of the Grace Mennonite Church in Halstead.

On April 3, 1938 he married Emma J. Smith at Halstead. She died April 25, 1989.

Survivors: two sons, Kenneth Koehn, Halstead and Rodney Koehn, Wichita; two daughters, Lenora J. Buller, Greeley, Colorado; Florence J. Koehn, Halstead; two brothers, Stanley Koehn, Burns; and Glen Koehn, Dalhart, Texas; six sisters, Agnes Jantz; Dorothy Jantz; Evelyn Jantz; Neva Jantz; Edna Koehn and Wilma Schmidt; all of Burns; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were Sunday afternoon at the Grace Mennonite Church conducted by Ministers Kenneth Smith and Dean Becker. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
