Leona Lingreen

Leona Lingreen, 83, a longtime Burrton resident and the mother of Betty R. Considine, Halstead, died March 8, 1991 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born July 10, 1907 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She married Carl J. Lingreen on October 27, 1924 at Golconda, Illinois. He died March 13, 1974.

A resident of Burrton for most of her life before moving to Buhler Sunshine Assisted Living Home, she was a retired restaurant cook and a homemaker. She was a member of the Burrton Bible Church.

Other survivors: four sons; Stanley C. Lingreen, Portis, Kansas; Donald L. Lingreen, Gaylord, Kansas; Joe Lingreen, Great Bend, Kansas and Jerry A. Lingreen, Oklahoma City; sister, Grace Boyd, Sesser, Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday morning at the Church. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
