Alvin A Wenzel

Alvin A. Wenzel, 90, died December 16, 1992 at Halstead Hospital. He was born August 20, 1902 at Sohland, Germany, the son of Karl Wilhelm and Wilhelmena Gaybour Wenzel. A Burrton resident for 71 years, he was a retired farmer.

On March 20,1929 he married Bertha Elsie Base at Alva, Oklahoma. She died January 16, 1992.

Survivors include a son, Karl Wenzel, Burrton; daughter, Twila McCoy, Burrton and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in the Burrton, Kansas Cemetery.

Memorial has been established with the American Lung Assoiciation.
