Obituary

Sylvia Cross Amstutz, 94, St. George, Utah, formerly of Sedgwick, died Thursday, June 24, 1993 at Porter's Nursing Home. She was born September 8, 1898 in Sedgwick, the daughter of Solomon and Jane Lowman Cross. A life long resident of Sedgwick where she was active in the American Letion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens, she moved to St. George in 1987.

On August 8, 1923, she married William Pete Amstutz who preceded her in death in 1941.

Survivors: son, William Wesley Amstutz, Topeka; daughters, Martha Ailenn Amstutz and Mary Jane Cooper, both of St. George, Utah; nine grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. She was prededed in death by a son, Norman Keith Amstutz.

Funeral service was Saturday, June 26, in the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel in St. Beorge. Burial was June 29 in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
