Obituary

Edna Louisa Chapple, 90, died March 12, 1993 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born June 1, 1902 at rural Newton, the daughter of Henry George and Martha M. Phillips Chapple. A lifetime Newton resident, she was a former Haarvey County treasurer, register of deeds and was with Claassen Investments & Loan, all of Newton.

She was a former member of the Zion Evangelical Church, rural Halstead.

Survivors: sister, Bess Chaple, Hesston.

Services were held at Petersen's Funeral Home, Newton. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
