Janetta Margaret (Breshears) Freund

Janetta Margaret Freund, 78, died February 23, 1993 at Golden Palms Health Care Center, Harlingen, Texas. She was born December 5, 1914 at Chelsea, Oklahoma, the daughter of Horace W. and Ida Elizaabeth Button Breashers. She graduated from Lamonte High School, Lamonte, Missouri. A Harlingen resident, formerly of Sedgwick, for 49 years, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sedgwick United Methodist Church of Sedgwick, the Order of the Eastern Star and Newton Chapter No. 5, both of Newton.

She married Luther D. Freund at Lamonte, Missouri on April 28, 1934. Survivors; husband, Luther, at Home; two daughters, Norma Jean Blalack, Sugarland, Texas and Mary Lou Giggy, Olathe; two brothers, Robert Breshears and Virgil Breshears, both of Lemonte, Missouri; sister, Gertrude Cusiick, Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services were held at the Sedgwick United Methodist Church, Sedgwick, February 26. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.

Memorials have been established with the Church or the American Cancer Society.
