Ethel Florence (Fry) Arrowsmith

Ethel F. Arrowsmith, 99 Sedgwick, died Wednesday, Octoer 5, 199, at Meadowbrook Manor, Sedgwick. She was born July 18. 1895 at Sedgwick, the daughter of Joseph Peter and Sarah Florence Utz Fry. A longtime resident of Sedgwick, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of Sedgwick.

She married Claude H. Arrowsmith on March 30, 1922 at Sedgwick. He died April 29, 1970.

Survivors: grandson, Dr. Daniel Arrowsmith of Florida; granddaughter, Carol Crocket, Larned; brother, Dale Fry, Garden City; two sisters, Ada Plummer, Sedgwick and Carol Steinle, Newton. She was preceded in death by a son, Merlin, on May 23, 1978.

Funeral was Saturday October 8, at United Methodist Church, Sedgwick, with the Rev. Victor Colton presiding. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
