Donald Charles Banie

Donald C. Banie, 77, Sedgwick, died Thursday, April 21, 1994 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. He was born May 26, 1916 at Cunningham, the son of James Milton and Esther Mae Knutsen Banie. A Sedgwick resident since 1946, he was a retired salesman for the former Banie Dry Goods, Sedgwick and Brick's Men's Wear, Wichita.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Sedgwick. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: brother, Kenneth Banie, Arlington Heights, Illinois and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Brown, Topeka.

Services were held Saturday April 12, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
