Ernest T. Kristenson

Ernest Thomas Kristenson, 89, Newton, husband of the late Alta Marie Bell of Sedgwick, died Friday, April 15, 1994 at the Kansas Christian Home, Newton. He was born July 25, 1904 in Osage County near Williamsburg, the son of Thomas Peter and Anna Louisa Peterson Kristenson. A longtime Newton resident, he was a retired aircraft worker. He was a member or the First Baptist Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge, both of Newton. He married Alta Marie Bell at Sedgwick on Feruary 25, 1934. She died February 14, 1988. Survivors include two sons, Gene Kristenson, Newton and Gary Kristenson, Houston; brother, Wilbur Kristenson, Ottawa; sister, Elvena Bernard, Los Angeles, California; 3 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services were held April 19 at Peterson's Funeral Home, Newton. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
