Mary May (Berger) Sabin

Mary May Berger Sabin, 99, Burrton, died July 11, 1994 at her home. She was born April 17, 1895 at rural Halstead, the daughter of Peter and Barbara Linck Berger.

She married George Sabin December 27, 1918 at Newton. He died December 1. 1947. She was a homemaker. She moved to the Burrton area following her marriage where she and her husband farmed north of Burrton. Following his death, she moved into Burrton. She was a member of the Christian Church, Burton, and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors: two daughters, Dorothy Holzrichter and her husband Abe, Halstead and Thelma Holrichter and her husband Pete, of Burrton; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Henry Berger, Arthur Berger, Sanuel Berger and Rudolph Berger; six sisters, Emila Rodman, Barbara Berger, Ida Berger, Nora Fast, Matilda Berger and Lydia Berger.

Services will be held Thursday, July 14 at the First Christian Church, Burrton. Burial will be in the Burrton Cemetery.
