Obituary

Jack E. Allen, 62,Newton, father to Kathleen Unruh of Halstead, died Tuesday, April 9,1996 at Newton Medical Center.

He was born November 22, 1933 at Arkansas City, the son of Everett and Ella F. Honn Allen. A long time area resident, he was a foreman for KPL in Newton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Newton and a Veteran.

He married Peggy Davison on February 4, 1958 at Stillwater, Oklahoma. She survives. Other survivors: two sons, Jon Allen, Walton and Anthony Allen, Newton; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David O. Allen.

Services were Thursday at Peterson Home, Newton with the Rev. Alden Dick presiding. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
