Theo Grace (Allen) Lawler

Theo Grace Lawler, 78, Newton, died Saturday, October 12, 1996 at Presbyterian Manor, Newton. She was born April 21, 1918 at Burns, the daughter of William and Ruby Watson Allen. She attended a year of secretarial college. She was a retired secretary/bookkeeper. She also worked at Beech Aircraft for three years and worked as delivery person for the Wichita Eagle Newspaper. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Newton.

On December 1, 1953, she married James D. Lawler at Newton. He died August 1, 1986. Survivors: son, Theodore A. Stutzman, Peabody; three daughters, Eileen Wonders, Newton; Nancy Keasey, Tucson, Arizona and Barbara Tyler, Sedgwick; brother, Irving L. Allen, Lyndon; two sisters, Eleanor Ubben, Amarillo, Texas; and Ruth Clark, Newton; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Graveside service was Tuesday, October 15, in Restlawn Garden of Memory Cemetery, rural Newton.
