Merle T Young

Merle Thomas Young, 43, Wichita, brother of Rita Depler and Jerry Young, both of Sedgwick, died October 18, 1996 at Via Christi Dialysis Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita. He was born November 14, 1952 at Ely, Nevada, the son of John and Lillian Grace Collins Young. He married Louise E. Young August 21, 1984. She died December 11, 1994. He was a Boeing Maintenance Employee, Wichita.

Other survivors: one son, Toby Lynn Young, Cave City, Arkansas; two daughters, Jennifer Michelle Young and Melinda Renee Young, both of the home; brother, John Young, Great Falls, Montana; half brother, Donny Phillips and a half sister, Marcia Martin, both of Ada, Oklahoa. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, and a half brother, Dennis Young.

Services were held October 18 at Hillside Funeral Home, West Wichita. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
