Obituary

Ardis M. Brack, 73, Burrton, died Monday, March 10, 1997 at Mt. Hope Nursing Center, Mt. Hope, Kansas. She was born April 25, 1923 at Natoma, the daughter of Ola and Goldie Franzier Busby. A Burrton resident since 1989, she was a Southwestern Bell Telephone operator and office manager, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Burrton United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

On June 28, 1948, she married Ernest Brack at New Mexico. He died October 17, 1989. Survivors: sons, Gerald Brack, Hutchinson and Harold Eugene Brack, Burrton; daughters, Gay Spencer, ElDorado; Brenda Diehl, Burrton and Cheryl Freeman, Wichita; brothers, Leon Busby, Midwest City, Oklahoma and Leonard Busby, Liberal; sisters, Ethel Sparks, Kinsley; Agnes Kesterson, Corona, California and Leah Sharpe, Aberdeen, Washington; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Services were held March 13, at Burrton United Methodist Church in Burrton. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
