Loring Frederick Hoskinson

Loring Frederick Hoskinson was born December 31, 1897 near Burrton. He married Katherine Jones of Anthony, Kansas, on September 17, 1918. He was killed February 3, 1936, near Los Angeles, at the age of 38 years, 1 month and 3 days.

He is survived by his widow, his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Hoskinson of Burrton, and five sisters, Mrs. Jeter of McPherson, Mrs. Beulah Snyder of Hutchinson, Mrs. Velma Graham of Burrton, Mrs. Elsie Johnson and Mrs. Esther Hoskinson of Valley township.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Methodist church. Rev. Corrie assisted by Rev. Stewart and Rev. Luper had charge of the services. Burial was in the Burrton cemetery.
