Gailen Michael Bousser

Gailen Michael "Porky" Bousser, 95, Halstead, died Thursday, February 5, 1998 at Oakwood Rehabilitation Center in Hutchinson. He was born August 8, 1902 in Halstead, the son of Harry and Josephine Redinger Bousser. A lifelong resident of Halstead, moving to Hutchinson in 1995, he was a quality control supervisor for Boeing Aircraft, Wichita. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Halstead Gun Club, both at Halstead.

On January 10, 1941, he married Gladys Gay Hilleary at Kansas City, Missouri. She died October 19, 19194.

Survivors: stepson, Monte Copenhaver, Hutchinson; stepdaughter, Virginia Jones, Hutchinson; 9 step-grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren and 12 step great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 9, in Halstead Cemetery with the Rev. Dallas Curts presiding.
