Eldon Howard Schroeder

Eldon Howard Schroeder, 47, died Monday, June 15, 1998 at his home in rural Halstead. He was born March 16, 1951 at Newton, the son of Howard and Eldred Bachman Schroeder. A lifetime county resident, he was owner of Eldon's Chemical in rural Halstead.

He was a member of Garden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge and a school board member at Berean Academy.

On July 30, 1971, he married Evelyn Classen at Meade. She survives. Other survivors: four daughters, Rhonda Rush, Newton; Valerie Mason, Hesston; Amy Schroeder and Lori Schroeder, both of the home; his parents, Halstead; two sisters, Rita Ullum, Hutchinson and Denise Hollingshead, Wichita and one grndson.

Funeral was June 18 at Garden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge with Pastor David Norris presiding. Burial was in Garden Church Cemetery.
