Obituary

Patrick J. Theis, 34, rural Halstead, formerly of Newton, died Thursday, June 18, 1998 at the corner of Illinois and Rayl Road, rural Burrton, Kansas. He was born Janury 13, 1964 at Newton, the son of James Lee and Phyllis Lorraine Theis. He was a welder for Collins Bus in Hutchinson.

On June 11, 1988, he married Michelle Story at Newton. She survives. Other survivors; parents, Newton; son Derrick Theis of the home; two daughters, Tiffany Theis and Tabitha Theis, both of the home; brother, Kenneth L. Theis, Wamego; two sisters, Brenda Cleaver, Wichita and Becky Baird, Newton and grandmother, Marcella Theis, Mt. Hope. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Alan Theis.

Rosary was Sunday, June 21 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newton. Funeral was Monday, June 22 also at the Church. Burial was in Restlawn Gardens of Memory.
