Katherine Sarepta (Schmidt) Buller

Katherine S. Buller, 90, Moundridge, formerly of Halstead, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge. She was born January 29, 1909 at Halstead, the daughter of Jacob A. R. and Katherine Johnson Schmidt. A lifetime resident of Halstead, moving to Halstead, Manor in 1997, she was a homemaker.

On October 23, 1938 she married Daniel C. Fuller at Halstead. He died January 4, 1967. She was a member of Grace Mannonite Church, Halstead.

Survivors: sons, Jonas Buller, Aaron Buller; Rueben Buller and Irvin Buller, all of Halstead and Chris Buller, Newton; daughters, Amanda Unruh; Edna Koehn; Hilma Dirks; Ada Koehn and Helen Reimer, all of Halstead and Judy Koehn, Detroit, Texas; a brother, Melvin Schmidt, Moundridge; sisters, Eva Jantz, Montezuma and Bernitta Schmidt; Lorene Koehn; and Osie Koehn, al of Halstead and Alma Jean Yost, Greensburg; 29 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin; brothers, Daniel; Nathaniel; Jonathon; Adam; Abraham; Norman and Llewelyn; sisters, Elizabeth Koehn; Lydia Schmidt; Adeline Giesbrecht and June Becker and three grandchildren.

Funeral was Friday, April 23 at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead with ministers, Kenneth Smith, Dean Becker, Raleigh Koehn and Stanley Wiggers presiding. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
