Obituary

Faye Lorrene Collins, 88, Burrton, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born July 4, 1911 at Hutchinson, the daughter of James Louis Brewer and Rose Hannah Oliver. A Burrton resident since moving from Hutchinson when she was 12 years old, she was a farmer/homemaker and former employee of the Burrton IGA.

She was a member of Burrton United Methodist Church; Unitetd Methodist Women; Order of the Eastern Star; and a charter member of Aurora Women's Club, all of Burrton.

On July 2, 1927 she married Chester Charles Collins at Burrton. He died May 23, 1985.

Survivors: two daughters, Charlene Cornett and Marjorie Pearce, both of Burrton; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral was Saturday, October 30 at Burrton United Methodist Church, Burrton, with the Rev. Larry Ankorm presiding. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
