Evelyn E (Schuetz) McGinn

Evelyn E. McGinn, 92, died Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at Sedgwick Healthcare Center, Sedgwick. She was born May 28, 1906 at Hebron, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Louise (Westerhaus) Schuetz. A resident of Sedgwick since 1925, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead.

On December 30, 1925, she married John Maurice McGinn at Newton. He died December 6, 1988.

Survivors: sons, Richard W. McGinn and Jerry J. McGinn, Sedgwick and Duane F. McGinn, Halstead; daughter, M. Janice McVicar, Sedgwick; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Dutch" McGinn".

Rosary was Thursday, February 4 at the Church. Mass was Friday, February 5, also at the Church with Father James R. O'Shea presiding. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
