Florence Ellen (Lehmann) Mirick

Florence Ellen Mirick, 94, Topeka, formerly of Halstead, sister to Neva Keller, Halstead, died Sunday, November 7, 1999 at Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. She was born February 17, 1905 in Halstead, the daughter of John Michael and Malvina Allen Lehmann. She was a teacher. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, Halstead. A lifelong resident of Halstead, she moved to Topeka in 1995.

On April 7, 1928, she married Bertrand Elisha Mirick, Jr., In Halstead. He died January 26, 1984.

Other survivors include a son, James Mirick, Kansas City, Kansas and a daughter, Ruth Fuller, Topeka, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Mirick,

Funeral will be Friday, November 12, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the Rev. Dallas Curts presiding. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
